I have waited a few years to post this. I wanted to believe that the first few billing “mistakes” were honest, like not applying credits that we had and constantly recommending unnecessary, uncovered treatment. I should have left when they offered me a discount on a crown for a good review. When my young adult kids went in, all kinds of unnecessary treatment was recommended. Office staff were very nice. I have always had a great experience with all the dentists but today the specialist told me my tooth "looked gross". It could be true but it would have been less offensive if he could have used more professional words.
I read the reviews here before I made an appointment. Someone here said he got a big bill because the office did not tell him it was out-of-network. When I made appointment I asked if they accepted my insurance. They just asked me if certain time was good. So I thought that meant they would accept my insurance. What a big mistake! Please be sure to have written confirmation that the office accept your insurance. Or a big bill!
Constantly look to upsell you unnecessary treatments that are almost certainly not covered by insurance (lasers, fluoride, Invisalign, etc). Got a second opinion after going there and realized I was being scammed with overpriced, unnecessary add-ons. They’re more focused on making $ than providing good advice. I have no trust in them.. Avoid.
