I just made the switch to Kola Family & Cosmetic Dentistry after my former dentist quit taking insurance. I was okay with that until I chipped a tooth, and decided that it would be best to be able to use my insurance. I was quite impressed with the most thorough initial exam of my teeth and gums that I've ever had. Dr. Jamisen Kohlman discovered a cracked tooth that needs a crown, and explained why I've chipped two teeth. I'll be getting additional dental treatment. I recently switched dentists, and my first visit exceeded my expectations. The staff took ample time to address my concerns, discuss the treatment plan, and explain costs and insurance details. I was particularly impressed with the advanced digital imaging technology, which was a significant upgrade from my previous dentist's office.
This was my first time receiving dental treatment in the U.S., and I felt very well taken care of. Dr. Kohlman and the other staff members were all very nice and professional.
This is a really well run practice. I've had a few fillings here and some minor cosmetic repairs. They are less conservative than the previous dentist at this location, Dr. Lesner, and have suggested work that he never mentioned. However, they don't “hard sell” when I have respectfully declined. Very thorough and balanced over all. Super convenient location for UT Employees.
