We had been patients of Dr. Gehrig in Fort Pierce for 40 years and needed to find another dentist after he retired. We were fortunate to find Dr. Halpern at Schwerer Dental Care. He and his staff are very personable and professional. They take the time to explain what they are about to do and make sure you remain as comfortable as possible while they do it. Best Dental Experience Ever! I’ve had nothing but amazing experiences at this office — truly a complete 180 from the 25th Street location. In the past, I’d leave dental visits in tears from how judged and uncomfortable I felt. I’m very skeptical about dentist offices and always have been since I was a child! But this office makes me feel safe and comfortable! Definitely recommend this place if you love a warm welcoming and a safe and trustworthy environment!

I had an accident at work that broke iffy part of my front tooth. I had a hard time finding a dentist that could take me in right away... this office was able to take me in! Everyone here was very kind, caring, and compassionate. They took care of my tooth right away and was always concerned if I was in any pain from them taking care of me. I would and will recommend this office everytime!
