I have been a patient 15+ yrs, no question, this is the only doc to go to for Periodontics. He has a Master's Degree on top of the DDS degree, so he is well positioned. (note: there are some DDS that do NOT have advanced degrees and are doing advanced work in Houston, not something I'd want to experience.) Dr. Porras and his staff are extremely thorough, kind and warm. I have had cleanings and surgeries with great results. It is a nice environment and my experiences have all been pleasant. My teeth and gums look better than they have in years.

Excellent! This is my third surgery with Dr. Porras in the last six years, and as usual, the service as very cordial and efficient. He as a terrific staff, and as always, post operative discomfort was very minimal. Tenderness and minor swelling is all I have ever felt, even with implant surgery (three at once) I have never even needed the prescribed pain medication. Yesterday's surgery was not...
Excellent dental care for my cleaning. Hygienist was thorough but with a very gentle touch. Since I have several dental implants I need to have cleanings every few months. She made the whole process efficient, speedy and painless. Would highly recommend Dr. Porras's staff.
